ProEdge, Inc. acquired Avery Dennison’s edge foil business in 1996 for the singular purpose of serving the furniture, cabinet, and related wood products industries.  Focusing exclusively on our edge foil customers, we maintain a large inventory of stock woodgrain designs and solid colors. We offer three day delivery on these products, and  low minimum orders.  Custom colors are also available.  

To continue to meet the needs of the wood products industry, we expanded our product line to include PVC and Melamine Edgebanding in 1997.  

In 1998, we expanded our razor slitting capacity to accommodate slitting of reinforcing films for the office products industry.  Contract slitting services began with this increased capacity.  As our growth continued, a spooling line was added in September of 2000 allowing traverse winding of narrow width films.  Shear slitting capability was added in 2001.

ProEdge is added gravure printing capability in 2001.  The addition of our new printing line will allow us to offer shorter lead times and lower minimum orders on custom color heat transfer films.
